Union and League, to Host National Romanian Day in Ohio

The Romanian flag will be raised at the Ohio State Capital on Saturday, November 29,2OO3. The flag will continue to fly over the Capital throughout the weekend.

Union and League is hiring a 55 seats coach from Cleveland to Columbus for those who wish to attend the flag rising. The bus will be leaving BunaVestire Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, 3300 Wooster Rd., Rocky River, Ohio, promptly at 8:30 a.m. (please be at BunaVestire Church by 8:15 a.m.).

The bus will arrive in Columbus at approximately 11:30 a.m. and return late in the afternoon. Upon arrival, the flag raising ceremony will take place followed by a lunch.

We ask everyone to please wear traditional Romanian costumes.
