Palm Sunday: St. Mary - Boardman OH

Like last year Bishop John Michael has pontificated the Liturgy at St. Mary Romanian Catholic Church in Boardman OH. Even though less then an inch of snow covered the grounds in Canton at our departure hour in the morning, just to remind us that the winter was still fighting, when we reached Boardman there was not any snow. The day turned out to be a gorgeous day.

A numerous group of parishioners from both parishes that Fr. Gage is serving, St. Mary, Boardman OH and St. John the Baptist in Hermitage PA joined the Palm Sunday service in Boardman OH.

The service started with the Episcopal blessing, followed by disbursing the palms to the people and the after that the Divine Liturgy started. Bishop John Michael gave the Homily and Fr. Gage thanked the Bishop at the end of the Liturgy for his presence and invited everyone to stay for the customary the fish dinner.
