Martyred Bishops Dinner
St. George Cathedral - December 5, 2004

St. George Romanian Catholic Cathedral hosted on December 5, 2004 a nice get-together dinner - Martyred Bishops Dinner. A dinner offered by our Cathedral in the memory of the Romanian Martyred Bishops - Cardinal Iuliu Hossu, Bishops Vasile Aftenie, Ioan Balan, Tit Liviu Chinezu, Valeriu Traian Frentiu, Alexandru Rusu, and Ioan Suciu. Also collections, throughout the Diocese, were taken for the martyred Bishops. All the collections and the dinners channeled for the martyred Bishops will be remitted to the Diocese so they can forward to the head of our Church in Romania, Metropolitan Lucian Muresan. All people present to the dinner at St. George have enjoyed good food, music and as a big surprise St. Nicholas came to visit the children. We would like to convey a big "thank you" to our kitchen crew who put this dinner together and most of all to Nick Botean an Esta Wolford for sponsoring this dinner.
